
About Dr. Lin Armienti
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST & SUPERVISOR
Dr. Armienti received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology within the greater Los Angeles area. She approaches psychotherapy from an integrative perspective incorporating psychodynamic techniques rooted in attachment theory, along with solution-focused, behavioral, and trauma-focused interventions. Lin has specialized training in codependency, utilizing the Pia Mellody model, along with somatic experiencing and EMDR. She has additional training in faith-based spirituality. Lin completed her predoctoral training at The University of San Francisco and her postdoctoral residency with Kaiser Permanente.
Originally from the east coast, Dr. Armienti gained an interest in trauma while engaging in mental health work within New York City. Having grown up in a dysfunctional family herself, Lin has joined The Codependency Clinic to focus on treating adults recovering from developmental trauma. As a Latina and member of the LGBTQ community, Lin is particularly interested in providing an emotionally and culturally safe space for fellow BIPOC and LGBTQ+ persons.
