CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST & SUPERVISOR
Dr. Rosenfeld is the founder of The Codependency Clinic and Alameda Counseling Services, a non-profit psychological service provider.
Dr. Rosenfeld completed her undergraduate education at Claremont McKenna College, where she graduated with honors in psychology. Dr. Rosenfeld served as President of the Psy-Chi National Honor Society and received the John Snortum Award for Distinctive Character.
Dr. Rosenfeld earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at John F. Kennedy University; her dissertation topic explored increasing hope in adolescents using community service. Dr. Rosenfeld completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Family Institute of Pinole, where she worked with families, adults and adolescents who were impacted by trauma using EMDR. She then completed her post-doctoral internship in the Addiction Medicine Department at Kaiser Permanente, where she stayed for the next seven years to focus on treatment for adults and adolescents struggling with addiction and codependency.
Dr. Rosenfeld founded The Codependency Clinic after developing a comprehensive treatment plan for Codependency that incorporates EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and The Pia Mellody Model. Dr. Rosenfeld noticed that after clients healed their family of origin trauma, they became interested in having healthy relationships. In 2021 Dr. Rosenfeld opened The Couples Enrichment Center, which specializes in helping adults raised in dysfunctional families to have the healthy adult relationships they want.
